From One Survivor to Another

My name is Chungyen, and I am the person behind More Reasons You Shouldn’t Fuck Kids, a blog on my experience as a survivor of sexual abuse.

I am a GenderQueer, pansexual, Asian American, disabled, Appalachian, radical Feminist, poet, major depressive, and eating-disordered person from Berea, KY. My life has been a big mess, and that’s okay.

I am a writer, but I don’t write or read enough. I like bubbles, lemon tea, piggies, video games, comic books, jtek, shibuya-kei, deep house, electropop, shoegaze, dream pop, and canadian indie music. I also enjoy young adult fiction, storybooks, chips and salsa, and summer.

I don’t believe in silence, because it has never helped me, not even once. I believe in second and third chances. I believe that all people are good somewhere inside. I believe in art as a way of life, and I believe in love.

Small note: I do not always follow back, because I want to keep up with everyone I follow. I have everyone in a feed reader, and I check daily.
