White privilege is being a relatively conventionally-attractive white girl showing up to pay a fine for shoplifting at a bookstore, and having the woman processing the fine make a comment to you about having to “keep an eye” on the inner-city kids there on a tour. To reiterate, WHILE PAYING FOR STEALING, someone racially profiled other CHILDREN as potentially BEING THIEVES.
