Aaaaaand this is why, when People of Color get angry about racism, it’s not an “isolated incident”. It’s often focused on one thing, but that one thing is part of a much larger, lifelong pattern of discrimination and outright hatred that we have to put up with. And then, when we do complain, it’s ignored multiple times before it’s noticed. Especially for Black folks. It’s very likely that you will never hear about 99% of these incidents— some of which are equally bad or even worse.
Honestly, white people should be glad Black people aren’t MORE angry than they are because some of this shit they have to put up with is absolutely horrendous.
