holy shit. i had never thought about this before.
Every time you see suicide in popular media or on the news: WHITE PEOPLE
i cannot recall even once seeing a portrayal of a Person of Color with depression or a Person of Color attempting suicide.
The CDC says it happens, though. And about as much among First Peoples.
