it’s alright! i’m sorry if i was kind of abrasive. that kind of stuff is very personal to me and the video was terrible in a couple of ways.
i guess there’s an outsider/insider dynamic going on there? like maybe it is a bit better for disabled people to ask one another about their status (although still intrusive), but for able-bodied/neurotypical people to do that comes with a lot of cultural power dynamics of non-disabled people controlling disabled people, deciding what’s legitimate or not, etc.
